Tim and Paula Miller would like to welcome you to Carriage House Inn, their Cape Cod B&B. Unlike most innkeepers, Paula and Tim are not new to the Inn business. They previously owned and operated the Portsmouth Harbor Inn & Spa in Kittery, Maine. In fact, their entire working lives have been spent in the hospitality, tourism, food and guest services fields!
Tim’s background includes 10 years as a general manager of a high volume seafood and steakhouse restaurant, consultant to the New England Culinary Institute, food sales for Roma Foods & U.S. Food Service, and event sales manger for Charleston Place Hotel, the 17th highest rated hotel in the country. Tim’s passion is cooking, so when you stay at our Massachusetts bed and breakfast, you will enjoy
a wonderful breakfast featuring his orange cardamom French toast or lemon cottage cheese pancakes with a fresh blueberry maple syrup. When Tim isn’t cooking he loves golf, playing the guitar and traveling to new places.
Paula grew up outside of Boston, Mass and her professional background includes director of sales, marketing, & catering for Dunfey Hotels, Sheraton, Omni and Embassy Suites Hotels. Paula was vice president of sales and marketing for Hospitality Marketing Solutions, a hotel consulting firm where she specialized in associate training and development for firms such as Fairmont Hotels, Orient Express Hotels, Hard Rock Cafes, & Ritz Carlton Hotels. Additionally, Paula is a licensed aesthetician, and together with Tim, transformed a barn attached to their Maine Inn into a unique spa offering massage, body scrubs, manicures, and pedicures. In her spare time Paula loves to read, garden, and travel with Tim.
Tim and Paula take great pride in not only providing splendid travel accommodations, but also the very best personal service such as DVDs and WI-FI Internet access. They look forward to extending their warm hospitality to you on your next visit to Chatham, Massachusetts.
